Sample prompts

These are ready-made Instructions you can copy into an agent. Each one is short on purpose: it covers who the agent is, its job and its rules. Facts such as prices and hours go in Knowledge, and actions come from Skills.

Find it: Sidebar → Agents → open an agent → Instructions

How to use a sample prompt

  1. Open your agent and go to Instructions. Click Markdown at the top of the box. You'll see: the prompt as plain text.
  2. Select everything in the box and paste the sample prompt.
  3. Replace every [square bracket] with your own details. Delete the brackets too. You'll see: no [ left anywhere in the prompt.
  4. Click Document to check it. You'll see: large headings, bullets, and no red chips.
  5. Turn on the skills listed with the prompt in Skills, and switch on your library in Knowledge.
  6. Click Save, then Try it live.

Use square brackets for blanks, not double curly braces

Text like {{BUSINESS_NAME}} is not a blank to Voxido. Double curly braces are for real variables, such as {{contact.name}}. A made-up one is never filled in: it is left blank, or the agent sees the raw text.

Make it yours

A sample is a starting point. Change the tone to match how your best staff member talks. Keep the rules short and clear, and add your own limits (what the agent can and can't promise).
