Running out of credits
When your credits get low, Voxido warns you. When there aren't enough for a call or message, Voxido stops it before it starts, so you never owe money. Adding credits fixes everything at once.
The warnings you'll see
| Balance | What happens |
|---|---|
| Under ₹900 | A strip at the top of every page: "Credits below ₹900 — ₹… remaining". The credits on your sidebar card turn amber. |
| Under ₹500 | "Getting low — under ₹500 (₹… left)" |
| Under ₹100 | "Critically low — under ₹100 (₹… left)". The Billing page shows Top up now. |
| ₹0 | "Out of credits — agents may stop until you top up" |
The account owner also gets an email at each step down. Every strip has an Add Credits button.
What stops when credits are too low
Voxido checks your balance before each paid action:
| Action | Needs at least | What you'll see if it's blocked |
|---|---|---|
| Your agent calls a customer (including campaign calls) | Enough for 10 minutes of AI and phone line time. | The call doesn't start. |
| Your agent replies in a chat | Enough for 1 minute of AI time | The agent doesn't reply. |
| A WhatsApp or SMS message | The price of that message | The message isn't sent. Campaign logs say "not enough credits to send this template — top up to resume". |
| Make a call from the header | Enough for 10 minutes of phone line time | "Not enough credits to call. Add credits to call guests." |
| Buying a phone number | The first month's rent, from credits you added (not trial credits) | "Add credits to buy this number" |
| Testing an agent with Try it live | Some voice credit | "Out of voice credits" |
Why 10 minutes for a call? Voxido can't know how long a call will last, so it makes sure a normal call can finish. Most calls cost far less.
Voxido checks credits before a call starts, not during it. A call that has started isn't cut off because of credits.
Phone number rent
Each number's rent is charged once a month. If there aren't enough credits on that day, Voxido tries again every day. Top up soon so you don't risk losing the number.
Get going again
- Click Add Credits on the strip, or go to Billing → Top up credits.
- Pick a pack and pay. See Topping up your wallet. You'll see: "Credits added to your wallet." The warning strip goes away.
- Check your agents in Sidebar → Agent activity over the next hour. New calls and replies should appear again.
Nothing needs to be switched back on. Agents start answering as soon as there are credits.
Never run out again
| Do this | How |
|---|---|
| Turn on auto-recharge | Setting up auto-recharge |
| Check At this pace on the Billing page every week | Top up when it shows fewer than 7 days. |
| Top up before a big campaign | Work out the cost first: What actions cost credits |
| Make sure the Owner reads the warning emails | The emails go to the account owner. Only Owners and Admins can top up. |
Common problems
I'm a Member and I see "Out of credits". Only Owners and Admins can add credits. Tell one of them.
A campaign stopped sending. Its log says "not enough credits to send this template — top up to resume". Top up, then check the campaign's tasks and logs to see who was missed. See Campaigns.
