Brand guidelines
Brand guidelines tell the Social Copilot how your business talks and looks. Fill them in once. Every AI-drafted caption and image then follows them.
Find it: Sidebar → Social Studio → Guidelines tab

Fill them in
- In Brand voice, describe how you talk in two or three sentences. You'll see: a character count as you type.
- In Topics, type what you post about. Press Enter or a comma after each one. You'll see: each topic becomes a tag. Click its × to remove it.
- In Default hashtags, add hashtags the same way. They're "Added to generated posts."
- In Visual identity, type Brand colors as hex codes, like
#1A73E8, #FBBC04. You'll see: a colour swatch for each valid code. - Click Upload logo and pick a PNG, JPEG or WEBP file. You'll see: "Logo uploaded — save to apply". The button now says Replace logo.
- Click Save guidelines. You'll see: "Brand guidelines saved". "All AI-generated posts will reflect these settings immediately."
The logo is "Used as a reference image when generating post visuals. PNG with transparent background works best."
Write a good brand voice
Before: "Friendly." After: "We're warm and simple. We talk like a helpful neighbour, not a company. Short sentences, no jargon, one emoji at most."

Common problems
My new voice isn't used. Click Save guidelines. Uploading a logo alone doesn't save it.
