Write and publish a post
You don't need the Copilot to post. The post editor lets you write a caption, pick channels, add images, and publish or schedule, all in one panel.
Find it: Sidebar → Social Studio → New post (top right)

Write a post, step by step
Example: Brightway posts a weekend offer on Instagram and Facebook.
- Click New post. You'll see: the editor with Publish to, Caption, Media, Schedule and a Preview.
- Open Publish to and pick one or more channels. You'll see: the channels you picked.
- Type your text in Caption ("Write your post…"). You'll see: a counter that turns red if you go over the limit for the channel in the preview.
- Under Media, click Add and pick an image (PNG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF). You'll see: the image in the editor and the preview. Several images become a carousel.
- Check the Preview. Click a channel icon above it to see another channel.
- Choose what to do:
- Leave Schedule empty and click Publish to post now.
- Pick a date and time in Schedule, then click Schedule.
- Click Save draft to finish later. You'll see: "Publishing — processing…", "Scheduled" or "Saved to drafts".
Picking several channels creates one post per channel. Each has its own status. If one fails, the others still go out, and you'll see something like "1 of 2 failed".

The counter checks the channel shown in the preview. Over the limit, Publish is switched off.
Instagram needs an image
With Instagram in the preview and no image, you'll see "Instagram requires at least one image." You can still click Publish, but Instagram will reject it. Always add an image for Instagram.
Publish now, schedule or save a draft?

Even "publish now" takes a moment. The post may show Scheduled or Processing before it turns Published. See Post statuses.
Edit a post
You can edit a post while it's Draft, Needs review or Failed. Click Edit on its card.
Published and scheduled posts open read-only: "Published and scheduled posts can't be edited." A published post shows View live.
Images
- Up to 10 MB each.
- Remove one with the × on its thumbnail.
- Images stay in the order you added them.
Common problems
"Pick at least one channel". Choose a channel in Publish to.
"Add some text or an image first". A post needs a caption or an image.
"Image upload failed". The file may be over 10 MB or in another format. Try a PNG or JPEG.
