Unsubscribe and data deletion

There are three different ways to say "stop". Each one does a different job.

Who wants to stopWhat they doWhat it stops
A customer of yours (for example Priya Sharma)Replies STOP, or your team records an opt-outYour agents' messages to that person, on that channel or on all
Someone who gets Voxido's own newsletterClicks the unsubscribe link in the emailThat newsletter only
A Voxido account ownerDeletes the account, or emails supportThe whole account and its data

Your customers: opting out

When a contact opts out, your agents stop messaging them. An opt-out can cover one channel (WhatsApp, SMS, email or voice) or all of them. It's checked before every message and always wins. See Message limits and quiet hours.

An agent can record an opt-out itself with the Record contact opt-out skill: "Mark this contact as opted-out; future sends will be blocked." Turn it on in the agent's Skills → Contacts group.

Examples: a gym member says "please stop the offers". A borrower asks not to be called again. A school parent replies STOP to admission messages.

Voxido newsletter: unsubscribing

Every Voxido newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. It opens a page on voxido.ai that confirms the unsubscribe.

You seeIt means
A spinnerIt's working.
"You have been unsubscribed successfully."Done.
An error such as "Missing unsubscribe token."The link is broken or incomplete. Use the link from the email again.

This only stops the Voxido newsletter. It doesn't affect messages from businesses that use Voxido.

Delete your Voxido account

Who can use it: the account Owner can delete the account and all its data. Anyone else can only leave the workspace.

  1. Click your name or picture at the top right, then Profile. You'll see: your profile, with Danger zone at the bottom.
  2. Click Delete account. (If you're not the Owner, the button says Leave workspace.) You'll see: a warning that lists what will be deleted.
  3. Type delete (or leave) in the box and confirm. You'll see: the sign-in page. "This action cannot be undone."

Leave workspace deletes your own account and removes you. "The workspace and its data stay intact for the other members."

If you can't sign in

Email support@voxido.ai with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address of the Voxido account. The public instructions page at voxido.ai/data-deletion says email requests are handled within 30 days.
