Connect a Google Sheet as a library

If you keep prices, timings or FAQs in a Google Sheet, connect it. Each tab you pick becomes a document in a new, read-only library. Each row becomes one searchable entry, so the agent can quote an exact line.

Find it: Sidebar → Knowledge → Connect source → Connect a Google Sheet

When to use it

The problem: your team already updates a sheet every day (a price list, class timetable, menu). Copying it into documents means it's always out of date.

Why a Sheet library: you keep editing the sheet as usual, then click Sync now. No copy-paste.

Your contentBest option
A table that changes often (prices, slots, stock list)Google Sheet
Long text (policies, FAQs)Upload a document
Live data that must be right to the minute (today's free slots)A connected app or Custom API

Before you start: Google Sheets must be connected for your company in Sidebar → Integrations. Until then, the menu option says "Connect Google Sheets in Integrations first." and is greyed out.

Shape your sheet

DoWhy
Put column headers in the first rowEach header becomes the label for that column's value.
One clean table per tabMixed content confuses the reader.
Keep each tab under 1,000 rowsOnly the first 1,000 rows per tab are read.

Example tab "Services":

ServicePriceDurationNotes
Deep cleaning (2BHK)₹3,4994 hoursIncludes kitchen
Sofa cleaning₹8991 hourPer 3-seater

Connect the sheet

  1. Go to Sidebar → Knowledge → Connect source → Connect a Google Sheet. You'll see: the Connect a Google Sheet window.
  2. Type a Library name, for example "Brightway price list".
  3. Paste the Google Sheet link from your browser's address bar, then click Load tabs. You'll see: Tabs to connect, with a tick box for each tab.
  4. Tick the tabs you want (up to 10). Use Select all or None to speed up.
  5. Click Connect Sheet. You'll see: "Google Sheet connected" — the library is ready, with one document per tab.

Keep it up to date

Rows are pulled once when you connect. After you edit the sheet:

  1. Pick the Sheet library in the Library picker. You'll see: a Google Sheet · read-only tag, when it was last synced, and Sync now.
  2. Click Sync now. You'll see: "Sheet synced" with the number of rows.

It doesn't sync by itself, so sync after each change that matters.

What you can't do in a Sheet library

It's read-only in Voxido: no uploads, no edits, no deletes of single documents, no websites. Change the sheet instead, then sync. For other content, use a normal library.

Each row is saved with a label like [Services · row 3]: the tab name and the row number in the sheet. So a wrong answer can be traced back to its row and fixed in the sheet.

Common problems

Load tabs fails. Check the link is the full sheet link, and that the Google account connected in Integrations can open the sheet.

Sync now fails with a reconnect message. The Google connection expired. Reconnect Google Sheets in Integrations, then sync again.

Some rows are missing. Only the first 1,000 rows per tab are read. Split big tabs.
